Crime is reportedly decreasing in Flint since the police have started to arrest people for loitering in party store parking lots.

Flint Police Chief, James Tolbert says that since the crackdown began in the end of June, there have been no violent crimes at any of the stores participating.

The actual ordinance doesn't officially take effect until November, but a number of party stores in the city have joined with the Police to help curb the problem this summer.

Since the success of the initial program, Tolbert plans on meeting with more business owners to try and grow the community that is participating.  So far six arrests have been made because of the initiative.
