Eve Talks Creative Growth, Releases New 2013 Album Cover for ‘Lip Lock’

The music industry hasn't been the same since female rapper Eve removed herself to pursue acting. A huge void has been missing but now her new album 'Lip Lock' will release in May of 2013. She delivered the album cover which you can find below.

It has been over a decade since we received a Eve album and we sure can't wait for 'Lip Lock.' The Ruff Ryder First Lady was able to successfully battle rap her male counterparts while captivating women across the world. With songs like 'Love Is Blind' and 'Gangsta Lovin,' proved she was the new leader of the women's movement in hip-hop.

You can imagine that Eve has grown as a person and that will be reflected on her upcoming album. Please don't expect her to give the uber aggressive lyrics from her Ruff Ryder days. She spoke with Billboard and revealed,

"I don't want people to take [Lip Lock] too seriously," she says. "I'm not trying to relive any moments of my life. I'm in a new place in my life. I'm almost a new artist. It's a fun record."

Her grow as a person can be seen with being the U.S. Female Ambassador for Big Brothers, Big Sisters of America. She dedicated the song 'Make It Out' to the non-profit organization which is pretty uplifting.
