Fabolous and Jadakiss' highly anticipated Freddy Vs. Jason project is coming soon. As a precursor, we get the album's first single "Rapture" featuring Tory Lanez.

The track fittingly dropped on Friday (Jan. 13), but has an upbeat vibe, making use of a sample of Anita Baker's hit "Caught Up in the Rapture." On the jazz-infused track, two of NYC's most prolific bar layers prove their skills are only getting better with time.

Loso snaps off first spitting, "Rock the 7's in Toronto, show the Raptors some love/Take a picture with my niggas tryna capture the love/We from the bottom but we tryna adapt to above/See for y'all that'll be prolly captioning your love/But for us it goes back to the strap and the gloves/Back to the birds of the white we was trappin' them ducks/Here today, gone tomorrow like a Snapchat for thugs/So you gotta keep your circle tight, never let it hula hoop/Niggas gon' shoot they shot especially when you the hoop/I'ma do the sprinter fam, two of y'all can do the coupe."

Tory comes in and does his thing on the chorus before making way for Kiss to go in. "Hella fly cats can't really adapt to the mud/If you ain't God it ain't in your actions to judge/It is what is turns into it was what it was/Know the thrist come with the grub/And the dirtiest is the first one in the tub/And the tough guys really just be wanting to hug/Yeah, when they come down after they bugging/Realize they just caught up in the rapture of love," Jada spits.

Fab recently assured fans that the collab project with the LOX member is really happening, but has yet to give a concrete release date. “Freddy Vs. Jason is on the way,” the Brooklyn rapper said in a interview with Bay Area radio station Power 106 KMEL in December. “We were tryna put it out next month in January, but we gunna drop something to go into it," he added.

Fab revealed a 60 second trailer for the project last night, which you can check out below.
