The Olympics are upon us and if you know anything about the major event, hip-hop has always had an appreciation for its players. Team USA is down in Rio de Janeiro to battle against other countries for the big win and earn medals in a variety of sports.

Team USA is a clear favorite in basketball with another all-star lineup assembled for the latest Olympic tournament. Kevin Durant, Carmelo Anthony, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, Kyrie Irving, Paul George and DeMarcus Cousins are just a few of the big NBA names on the men's roster coached by Duke's Mike Krzyzewski.

On the women's side, the veteran squad features quite a few UConn alums. Breanna Stewart, Sue Bird, Diana Taurasi and Maya Moore are all representing America alongside the likes of Seimone Augustus and Elena Delle Donne.

The U.S. women's soccer team is hoping to make some history by capturing Olympic gold after winning the World Cup. Carli Lloyd, Alex Morgan and Hope Solo lead the squad for this potentially historic competition.

Swimming boasts many returning stars with past winners like Michaels Phelps, Ryan Lochte and Missy Franklin all competing once again. But 19-year-old Katie Ledecky is arguably the best swimmer in the world, and will likely wow viewers with her performance in the pool.

Gymnastics features its own notable return with Gabby Douglas participating in the Rio after winning gold in London four years ago. But Douglas may be upstaged this year by Simone Biles who captured 10 golds at the World Championships, the most of any female gymnast.

During such an exciting time for Team USA, the proper walkout music is necessary. With that in mind, XXL asked our readers what hip-hop song would be best for an entrance. The options flooded in and everyone from the old school to the new got a shout out. Bone Crusher's "Never Scared," Drake's "Back to Back," Wu-Tang Clan's "Bring Da Ruckus" and OG Maco's "Fuck the Competition" are just some of the many tracks fans provided. Check out what the fans thought would be fitting for the 2016 Olympics in the gallery above.
