A father in Kentucky packed drugs in his children's backpacks and sent them off to school.

He was caught when his second grader stopped her teacher and told her that she had something urgent to tell her.  The child pulled out a small bag of a powdery substance and said that her two sisters also had bags like that.

The father was arrested when he showed up at the school: His attorney insists that this is all just a big misunderstanding.

He also claims that the children were held on the bus for a long time and told to say that the bags came from their dad if they wanted to be allowed to leave.

The father's bond was set at $2,500, and he has been ordered to have no contact with his children.
