The FDA is not messing around when it comes to the recall on Kellogg's Honey Smacks.

There is a Salmonella outbreak centered around Honey Smacks, and it has since been recalled. The problem is that not everyone is heeding the warning of the recall.

FDA Food put things about as bluntly as possible on Twitter yesterday saying,

Seriously, get rid of Kellogg's #HoneySmacks in the cabinets. Do NOT eat. Do NOT buy - retailers can NOT legally sell.

Pretty sure there's no room for doubt after that.

Here's the big problem, the FDA ordered the cereal removed from shelves in June, but not all stores or consumers have listened.

There have been 130 confirmed cases of Salmonella in 34 different states since the recall.

The moral of the story is pretty simple. Don't eat the Honey Smacks.
