Flint Beecher High School Boys Basketball Team Wins Back To Back State Championships

Today is another great day in Flint, Michigan due to the boys basketball team at Beecher High School.  The 'Bucs' brought back another state championship trophy with an impressive win against Laingburg.  Laingburg put up a great battle but the 'Bucs' were able to move pass them.

Beecher was able to hold off Laingburg for a one point victory,40-39, in the state championship game at Michigan State Universities Breslin Center.  The 2013 'Mr. Basketball' recipient, Monte 'Man Man' Morris' led the way for Beecher in this closely contested game.

Even though Morris was ill during the game, he was able to perform with help from the entire team.  Flint Beecher's Aquavius Burks added nine points to help bring home the glory for one more year.

Beecher may have struggled early in the game but they were strong enough to pull through.  Good job Beecher Boys Basketball team!
