The Flint Community Schools has increased in students after the recent count day.  Lately our school district has seem glimmers of hope which is exciting.  More students attending school is a positive for everyone.

Just recently Flint Schools received a loan to continue to pay teacher's salary throughout this year.  It is a small bandage but necessary.  Now we get news that the number of students have increased after the most recent count day.

Flint Schools increased by 44 students from last semester until now.  According to MLive, each student the district has enrolled, the district receives $7,500.  This is good news for our beloved school district.  It may not be the answer to all the problems but it is a good step forward.
