Flint Community Schools Reveal Extended Days of School From Harsh Winter

Looks like school will be extended for Flint Community School students and staff.  The extended days stem from the harsh winter our area experienced.  Parents, take note of days to schedule family vacations. 

According to ABC12, the last day for all students except Northwestern and Carpenter Road Elementary is June 17th.  Northwestern High School's last day will be June 18th while Carpenter Road Elementary will end on June 16th.

The record setting snow fall in our area really did a number on school days and students need to make those days up.  I don't think anyone will oppose the extension.  Education is to vital in our area for our students to be cheated by not fulfilling the required days.
