Flint's Mark Ingram went on record to talk about the real reason that some NFL players are deciding not to stand for the National Anthem.

Reporters from Nola.com talked to Ingram after their game on Sunday. Reporters asked him about the original message intended by kneeling, and Ingram summed it up perfectly in the video below.

 

Ingram doesn't delay in getting straight to the point.

We just want this world to be a better place, and that takes equality. Equality amongst everyone, every single race, every single culture.

This has been one of the most hotly debated issues in the country this week.

I personally think that Ingram does a great job explaining the position. He avoided the urge to bash the other side, even though so few people have been able to do the same lately.
