Flint has recorded seven homicides in the last seven days, and the residents are sick of the violence.

Members of the Black Student Union from U of M-Flint, along with other Flint residents, marched through the city streets demanding an end to the violence.  The Murders have included all genders and ages, and have been all over the city.  Below is a map of the murders in the last seven days.

Police in Flint say a 12-year-old girl and her mother have been found slain at an apartment complex on the city's south side. The Flint Journal reports family members identified the pair found dead Saturday as Cherish Hill-Renfro and 42-year-old Yolanda Hill.

The big question remains even after the organized marches . . . What will eventually bring an end to the senseless violence in our city?
