Flint’s Anthony Dirrell Finally Receives World Championship Belt

It has become surreal. Flint's Anthony Dirrell finally received his world championship belt. We can only imagine the overwhelming feeling he is experiencing now.

Two days ago Dirrell received his WBC championship belt in the mail for defeating Saiko Bika in August 2014. Soon as the packaged arrived at his home, 'The Dog' soaked the moment in with his family.  Dirrell posted pictures to his Instagram account to share with his fans.

According MLive, even the champs' son was taken away by seeing the belt for the first time. Anthony Dirrell Jr was quoted saying,

"Daddy, you're the world champion."

We are super excited for Anthony winning the belt. He overcame tremendous struggles over the past couple years. Dirrell's drive and never quit mentality should inspire residents in Flint to keep pushing.
