Flint’s Atwood Stadium Receives Funds to Restore Famous Landmark
If you ever been to Atwood Stadium in Flint, you know the history and possibilities of the famous landmark. A lot of football games, rallies, and concerts have been hosted there. After restorations are done, who would you like to see perform at Atwood?
Ruth Mott Foundation has matched up $100k in funds to help restore the turf stadium in hopes of reaching the $1.8 million goal set by Kettering University.
Kettering University officials are excited about donations from the Ruth Mott Foundation according to MLive.
"It's fantastic. We're so appreciative of their investment," said Kettering University President Robert McMahan of the Ruth Mott funds. "We want to make it an updated venue for community activities."
If Club 93.7 could bring any artist to perform at Atwood Stadium, who would like to see perform live?
