The Freshmen cover always comes with it's share of controversy, but the two main arguments are that most of these guy have been on the scene for a couple years, and the lack of a female MC.

There is no doubt that Jon Connor has earned his spot on the cover, but do you think there are any other artists that may have gotten snubbed?  Let us know in the comments below.

Fresh off of the cover spot, Jon Connor appeared on BET's 106 & Park yesterday to talk about the future, and his love for the rap game.
