Flood Damage Closes Genesee County Road Indefinitely

The Genesee County Road Commission has announced that a Mundy Township road will be closed until further notice.

Cook Rd will be closed starting today between Sharp and Beers roads.  The road commission did not give a day when the roads would be reopened for traffic.

The road has been damaged due to flood waters repeatedly eating away at the surface.

This shouldn't cause too much of a hassle considering that the road is not heavily used, but the length of the closure could turn into a headache for residents near by.
