Florida Man Robs Gas Station While Filling Out Job Application

The idiot of the day goes to a Florida man who robbed a gas station after applying for employment at the same location. I guess he thought it was cool to get a cash advance.

Anthony Thomas has been accused of robbing a Citgo gas station after turning in an application.  The surveillance camera caught Thomas, 33 years old, reaching over the counter as the clerked walked away from the register.

The camera clearly caught Thomas grabbing some loot.  Thomas quickly ran out the store thinking he was winning.

The cash grabbing robber was caught just a couple of blocks away from the gas station.  Police suspected Thomas but was able to confirmed him being the robber after his identification matched the information on his application.
