Flushing Teen Killed In Tragic Car Accident

It was announced on the Go Fund Me page set up for Alaina Ullmer, that she has passed away after being struck by a car in Flushing on Monday.

Alaina Ullmer was walking to an after school activity according to WNEM, when she was hit by a car on Carpenter Rd.  She was rushed to Hurley Medical Center, but died overnight due to her injuries.

A GoFundMe page was originally set up to help with medical costs, but tragically the page has announced that the money will now be used towards funeral expenses.

With this tragedy being so recent, I would like to extend my sympathies to everyone involved in the accident.  It's unimaginable what the family is going through right now.
