Ford is spending $4.5 Billion to build more than a dozen new electric models by the year 2020.

The future of small car factories in America is getting a little slimmer now thanks to the Ford Motor Company. Ford stated they will invest more than $4 Billion to invest in Mexico production to bring more than a dozen new electric models to the Ford line.

Part of the $4.5 Billion dollar deal will include plans to make production simpler and less expensive according to CEO Mark Fields.

"Over the next two to three years, we will have migrated all of our small-car production to Mexico and out of the United States," Mark Fields

Over the next four years Ford plans to unveil new commercial, SUV, trucks, and performance vehicles according to Mark Fields.
