‘Friday Night Tykes’ Paints A Disturbing Picture Of Youth Football [Video]

Youth Football is already a fairly controversial subject, but the new series 'Friday Night Tykes' will raise a few more red flags.

Esquire Network is starting a 10-part series that is looking at the world of pee wee football, but they are taking a 'Hard Knocks' style.

The preview has received a lot of attention because of the intensity parents and coaches display, with some appearing not to care about injuries, kids’ feelings or the possibility that maybe the children should just be having fun.

There are also some nasty hits in the preview, which may come under fire in the wake of the dilemma the NFL has about head injuries.  'Friday Night Tykes' premieres January 14 at 9 p.m. ET on Esquire Network.
