Get excited Future fans—MTV is taking fans backstage of Future's Purple Reign Tour with a mini-documentary, Future’s Reign.

"After you strip away all his alter egos, this is Future at his realest and rawest," read a Facebook post from MTV with the video.

The ten-minute clip shows Future preparing for the tour, heading to strip clubs and of course performing for thousands in sold-out shows. The Freebandz leader also narrates the documentary himself.

"I'm Future Hendrix forever. That's who I am. My mom named me Nayvadius but I am Future Hendrix," he says. "You can say that I rap but I know I'm a rockstar."

Future then goes on to explain all the reasons why he's a rockstar like keeping his shades on while he's inside. MTV also caught up with some fans outside of his concerts who explained why they love the rapper and why they were pumped to see him.

"You can't really understand what he's saying but that's the magic part about it," said one fan. "Future's music gets me live, every time. When a song comes on I can't do anything but dance," said another in the video.

It's not hard to see why Future has become somewhat of a phenomenon in hip-hop. After pumping the industry with mixtape-after-mixtape, the rapper was able to gain popularity with a number of hit tracks including, "Turn On the Lights," "Move That Dope," "F--- Up Some Commas," "Where Ya At," "Jumpman" and "Low Life." Not to mention, he released a collaboration mixtape with Drake last year, What a Time to Be Alive.

MTV also caught up with Future in an interview where he explains his alter-egos.
