GM Flint Assembly is looking to fill 100 temp positions, but if you want in you'll need to act quickly.

The positions have a lot of questions around them, but the pay is worth it. New hires will start at $15.78 per hour with holiday pay and healthcare benefits available after a 90 day probational period.

Any job at GM is highly sought after in our area, so you should waste no time filling out the application here.

There are a few drawbacks about the openings at GM. The length of the work is not determined, so it could end fairly suddenly. The job requires Saturday shifts, with the possibility of two more days being added to that.

All things considered, that's a pretty small downside, especially if your goal is to get your foot into GM. I have a few friends that have been hired into GM as temps, and they have all had different experiences. Some have been laid off shortly after starting, others have gone on to full time careers, and some have kept their temp status for years.

The main thing to think about is that these jobs will be filled quickly, and there will be many people applying. It's best to apply now, and make sure you put your best foot forward.
