The Summertime tradition of grabbing some ice cream from the good humor man might be in jeopardy this summer.

The ice cream man could run out of Good Humor bars.  The company is suffering from a supply shortage and doesn't have enough ice cream to fill all the trucks.

Specifically, kids might not be able to buy Toasted Almond, Candy Center Crunch, or Chocolate Eclairs.

The company said that part of the problem is that we had an unusually warm spring.  That led to a spike in sales as people ate the ice cream bars they THOUGHT would last into summer.  They also closed a manufacturing plant.

The shortage doesn't affect the products they sell in stores, just the ones they use to supply the ice cream trucks. The good news is that they think they should have their supply back up to normal levels by the end of July.
