Last night Goodrich School board made a tough decision to approve settlement with the teacher who released an embarrassing video of a student stuck in a chair.  The school board has been contemplating on firing the teacher but she hasn't backed down.  Did they make the right decision?

Nicole McVey is the teacher who video taped a student being stuck in a chair.  The 10 year old student suffers from Asperger's syndrome. After the story broke news, the community was calling for McVey to be fired along with the student's parents.

The approved settlement withdraws any efforts from the school to fire or suspend McVey.  The misguided teacher has wrote an apology to the family to of the student in the center of all this fighting.
