Here’s Who’s Calling Baseball In Detroit This Year

Meet the new team, same as the old team...kind of...

FOX Sports Detroit along with our Detroit Tigers unveiled the new guys (who really ain't so new) that will be a part of the game broadcasts this year and bringing you all of the action.

And well, that's really good news for those of us who really like these guys.

According to foxsports.com/detroit, taking over Mario Impemba's former play-by-play spot will be fan favorite Matt Shepard. Reprising his role in the booth with Shepard (and the guy who formerly split time there with Rod Allen) will be Tigers great and Michigan State Spartan, Kirk Gibson. Joining Matt and Kirk this year will be newly minted Baseball Hall of Famer, Jack Morris.

Another Tigers great, Dan Petry will join CMo, Craig Monroe, as an analyst on the Tigers Live pregame and post-game shows.
