Sometimes sports are about more than the final score, and those moments are what everyone involved will remember long after the game is over.  This was the case in Ohio last week as Michael Ferns, a U of M recruited running back, stepped out of bounds on the one yard line so his teammate Logan Thompson could score.

Logan is a freshman linebacker on the team and had just lost his dad two days prior to a stroke.  That night Logan's heavy heart may have been lifted momentarily by scoring his first Varsity touchdown.  Ferns, the guy who ran out of bounds the play earlier, stayed in the game as Logan's lead blocker on the touchdown play.

Sometimes sports is more than a game and a touchdown is more than six points.
