High School Girl With Down Syndrome Makes Her Cheerleading Dreams Come True [Video]
Rachel Massingale has Down Syndrome, but that isn't stopping her from inspiring everyone that watches her cheer at her high school basketball games.
Rachel has always wanted to cheer, but it wasn't until this year that her dream could become a reality. She has her own coach who helps her learn the cheers, 52 to be exact, and she's learned every single one of them.
Everyone knew how Rachel would feel by becoming a full fledged cheerleader, but nobody was ready for the way Rachel would make them feel.
She has turned into an inspiration to her friends, family, coaches and everyone who sees her at the game. Her drive, determination, energy and attitude give everyone an example of how we should approach the everyday challenges we come up against.
Thank you Rachel for having the determination to do what you love, and the wisdom to actually enjoy when you get to do it.
