Hikers in Defiance, Ohio ran across a tree fire so strange that some have dubbed it the 'Devil Tree.'

Some think the tree was struck by lightning, but nobody can say for certain what caused the fire to start burning.

There is an actual 'Devil Tree' in New Jersey, but it is considerably less "firey" than the tree in the video.

The local legend around the Devil Tree is that it is cursed, and if anyone damages the tree, they will be harmed afterward.
