I-75 Closures In Genesee County Due To The Storm Are Not Done Yet [Video]

NB and SB 75 reopened Monday morning, just in time for the weekly commute, but they will be closed again today as workers continue to repair damage from the weekend storm.

The shutdowns stretched from Hill Road to Dixie Highway on I-75. The I-475 ramps in those areas were also closed.  Reports of a transformer and entire power pole down in the expressway were the cause.

NB and SB 75 will close again tonight around 8pm so Consumers can finish replacing the power pole, along with stringing the new lines on that pole.  It is expected that the roadway will be open before Tuesday mornings commute.
