With over 30 years in the game and multiple other sources of income, Ice Cube could have left rap alone a while ago. But the Cali rap veteran has the hunger for more. He is currently prepping his 10th solo studio album Everythangs Corrupt and recently revealed the release date for the LP.

Fans of the former N.W.A member don't have to wait much longer. On Tuesday (Oct. 30), Cube hopped on Instagram and shared day people should be marking their calendars. "December 7, 2018. A day that will live in Infamy...," he captioned the album's cover art on IG.

It's been nearly a decade since we got a new album from Cube. The last offering was I Am the West, which came out in 2010. Since then, the Friday creator has been focusing heavily on his acting and film producing career with movies like Ride Along, Lottery Ticket, Rampart, The Book of Life, Barbershop: The Next Cut and more.

Last May, he signed a new recording contract with Interscope Records giving fans hope that music would come soon after. “We are thrilled to announce that Ice Cube has joined the Interscope family," John Janick, Chairman and CEO of Interscope Geffen A&M said of the signing. "He’s obviously one of the legendary figures in hip-hop… that’s a massive statement on its own, but he’s so much more than that. Cube has an incredible body of work, and as a fan I’m honored to welcome him to the label."

Everythangs Corrupt has been talked up since 2012 and pushed back multiple times. Now, the wait is almost over.
