Hot 97's Hip Hop Has Heart foundation hosted its first ever Lift 'Em Up Holiday Dinner at Queens, N.Y.'s Jamaica Performing Arts Center. Some big names in hip-hop and R&B lent a helping hand for the festivities.

The occasion brought out some very notable guests, including Hot 97's Morning Show host Peter Rosenberg and Program Director Ebro Darden and fellow radio personality Angie Martinez. There was also a welcomed appearance from R&B artist Sevyn Streeter, who's seen serving food in the video above.

Ja Rule was also spotted at the event, and he shared some nice words about the occasion. "This is what the season is about," he said. "Giving. Receiving. But more or less about giving back. This is my community right here; this is where I'm from ... So it was really big for me to come out and show my support.

The Hip Hop Has Heart Foundation was founded in 1994, with the goal of being, "responsive to the needs and concerns of the community and create a positive environment." The holiday dinner focused around providing food and presents to the needy during the holiday season.
