Tupac made a brief appearance in the Notorious B.I.G. biopic Notorious, so it's only right that the opposite be true, too. And based on a recent photo, it appears the producers over at Morgan Creek have found their man.

After production started last week on All Eyez on Me, the much delayed Tupac biopic, the actor tapped to play Pac, Demetrius Shipp Jr., posted a photo to Instagram that reveals another casting decision. Jamal Woolard, otherwise known as Gravy, will reprise his role of The Notorious B.I.G. in the film after starring as the late great Big in 2009's Notorious. Anthony Mackie played the role of Tupac in Notorious, while Marcc Rose played Pac in this year's Straight Outta Compton.

Woolard doesn't have many acting credits in the time since Notorious was in theaters, acting in just four productions in the past six years. His likeness to Biggie is striking and it is shaping up to be his defining role, as Woolard prepares to inhabit the Brooklynite once again. The only comment from Woolard himself comes by way of a tweet reading, "2pac movie get ready historical moments."

It appears that production on All Eyez on Me is running smoothy now after months of delays that included multiple director changes and an in-house lawsuit. John Singelton had left the project, saying on Instagram that, "The people involved aren’t really respectful of the legacy of Tupac.” As of four weks ago, the film had named Benny Boom as the director.
