Janet Jackson just signed on to be the spokesperson for 'NutriSystem' as she tries to help people live healthier.

The problem is that PETA doesn't care to much about healthy people.

PETA chose Ms. Jackson as their 'Grinch Of The Year' because she for choosing to wear animal products such as leather and fur.

According to NME, Ms. Jackson earned the title for her not-so-animal-friendly costume choices as well as her involvement with luxury fur brand 'Blackglama'. Jackson also teamed up with the company for her own fashion line of fur pieces back in November, enraging PETA supporters everywhere.

PETA spokeswoman Wendy Wegner said:

“While the holidays may be known as the season of giving and peace on earth, that’s not always the case for our animal friends. When Janet Jackson had her infamous wardrobe malfunction during Super Bowl XXXVIII, at least what popped into view of 170 million onlookers belonged to her, unlike the animal skins she drapes herself in, which are as dead as her fashion taste and her career.”

PETA also just released their nominees for 2011′s ultimate do-gooders. Both Kesha and Justin Bieber are nominated for the Most Animal-Friendly Pop/Hip-Hop Artist award for their unrelenting animal rights efforts and their support of PETA’s mission to save animals from cruelty worldwide.

Winners will be announced on Jan. 17, so stay tuned.
