All eyes were on the NBA last night as Kobe Bryant wrapped up his epic 20-year career with a 60-point performance as the Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Utah Jazz 101-96. The game was a star-studded event as Kanye West, The Weeknd, Kendrick Lamar, ScHoolboy Q, Steve Stoute, Jay Z and more all took in the game from their courtside seats. Once the final buzzer sounded, complete pandemonium broke out at the Staples Center as confetti filled the air and everyone in vicinity of the court tried to get a last good look at the superstar player as he addressed the crowd.

Somewhere in the mayhem, Hov snuck onto the court and snatched the game ball before making his exit from the arena. As he made his way through the bowels of the famed stadium, the Brooklyn MC showed off his crossover as Stoute captured the moment for Instagram.

"The Rock handle like Van Exel," wrote Stoute, quoting a bar from Hov's verse on Beyonce's "Crazy in Love." "FYI, that is the game ball."

Following the game, rappers took to social media to shout out the Black Mamba and pay their respects. Considering how intertwined the worlds of basketball and rap are, it came as no surprise that hip-hop artists played a role in the evening's festivities.

While Kobe went off during his final game as a Laker, the Golden State Warriors made history as well as the team broke the single-season wins record by earning their 73rd win of the year by beating the Memphis Grizzlies 125-104. The Warriors will move on to the playoffs while the Lakers will watch from home.
