JAY-Z appeared on CNN’s Van Jones Show on Saturday night (Jan. 27) and had a few choice words for President Donald Trump.

In his interview, Hov called President Trump a “Superbug” and slammed him for his comments about African nations being “shithole countries.”

"Everyone feels anger, but after the anger it's really hurtful. ... he's looking down on a whole population of people, and he's so misinformed," he said.

When asked by Van Jones whether it's okay for Trump to say terrible things amid his claims that the unemployment for African-Americans has dropped, JAY-Z said no, "because it's not about money at the end of the day. Money doesn't equate to happiness. It doesn't. That's missing the whole point."

"You treat people like human beings. That's the main point," he added. "It goes back to the whole thing -- 'treat me really bad and pay me well.' It's not going to lead to happiness, it's going to lead to, again, the same thing. Everyone's going to be sick."

In response to JAY-Z's comments, President Trump went on his Twitter account and tweeted, "Somebody please inform Jay-Z that because of my policies, Black Unemployment has just been reported to be at the LOWEST RATE EVER RECORDED!"

This prompted fans to clap back at Trump.

Forget Jay-Z and focus on the spin. Black unemployment has been declining since 2010 at a steady rate, but less jobs were created in 2017 than the past 6 years. And, at 6.8%, Black unemployment is nearly twice the rate of white people, at 3.7%. Trump has done nothing," tweeted writer Nick Jack Pappas.
