After he released three diss songs at Drake, including “Afraid,” Joe Budden went on the Brilliant Idiots podcast to explain why he is personally going after the Toronto rap star.

Just to recap, the New Jersey rapper has released a trio of diss tracks at Drizzy, while on French Montana’s tune “No Shopping,” the 6 God called Budden a “one-hit wonder.”

The song are supposedly setting up for a highly anticipated diss-a-thon between Budden and Drake, but the feud is now lukewarm at best.

On the podcast, Budden explained to hosts Charlamagne tha God and Andrew Schultz that he felt disrespected after a source told him what Drake said on “No Shopping” before the song was ever released. This prompted Budden to go into the studio and line up his diss songs for Drake and send him a message.

“I’m hurt. I am hurt. I’m appalled that n---- who know my pen game, he know I don’t care about none of that fame, success, attention, none of that," he said. "He know what I do. And you want to use your celebrity to do that to me? We smoked hookah together. How could you do that?”

Budden says he has plenty of lyrical ammo for Drake and is waiting patiently for a clear response song from him.

"I'm going to be on his ass," he said. "You won't hear another word out that boy mouth about Joe Budden."
