Jordin Sparks is known for her soulful voice and her vocals absolutely sparkle on the Salaam Remi-produced song, 'Chocolate Brown Eyes.'

While listening to the song, we couldn't help but think of the angelic vocals of the late Aaliyah. It's so uncanny, it's almost scary.

But to be fair, this is Sparks' tune and she does a fantastic job on the orchestral soul ballad. They don't make these kind of songs anymore, folks.

On 'Chocolate Brown Eyes,' the 23-year-old chanteuse reflects on her lover's attributes -- his lips, his warmth, his comfort and yes, his chocolate brown eyes.

"I want you closer than a kiss / Because me and you we are our own clique / Can't nobody stop us when we roll / And all you need to know is / I'm falling in love," she coos over soft guitars.

Sparks sends it home with the chorus, singing, "Chocolate brown eyes / Your hand fits around mine, it feels so right / When we ride through the night."

'Chocolate Brown Eyes' is a gorgeous song and we pray that Sparks and Remi have recorded more collaborative tunes together. This is a winning combination.

If you haven't done so, go cop Salaam Remi's stellar album. 'One: In the Chamber.' It features great songs by Ne-Yo ('Everything I Need'), Corinne Bailey Rae ('Makin' It Hard for Me'), Akon ('One in the Chamber'), Estelle ('Cup of Tea') and more. The entire album needs to be in your music collection.
