Juicy J has nearly three decades in the rap game as an artist and now, according to the industry vet himself, he could be entertaining a new role.

In a post shared on Instagram on Wednesday (Nob. 28), the Memphis native shared an image of himself at the Columbia Records office, with his caption hinting that the reputed imprint could be making some big changes in the near future.

“I just wanna thank @columbiarecords for considering me for President/CEO,” he wrote. “I’m Bout to Bring something new to this Game.”

While details of what Juicy J may have up his sleeve have not yet been shared, one glimpse at the comments section shows his fanbase is largely in support of this possible boss move.

XXL reached out to Columbia Records for comment.

Recently, Juicy J stopped by the XXL office to run through his top five favorite beats, further proving that both his knowledge and influence would translate extremely well to an executive position at a major record label. From collaborating with artists from the younger generation such as Travis Scott to lending his years of experience and wisdom as part-owner and A&R representative of the label of Taylor Gang, Juicy J could just be the best man for the job.
