Justin Timberlake Says ‘I’m Ready’ Promising New Music [Video]

Justin Timberlake made the announcement that he will be releasing new music in just a few days in very dramatic fashion with his 'I'm Ready' YouTube trailer.

JT has been teasing on Twitter for a while now that he is planning a major announcement, but there were too many rumors to be sure.

Would it be about MySpace? Maybe he was planning a bigger role with the Memphis Grizzlies, or was it possibly baby news?  Everyone was speculating, but I don't think anyone expected him to announce that he had a full album done!

Timberlake explains his passion for the music in a monologue saying,

It means more to me than anybody else in the world. I've only done two albums in 10 years. That's the way I really look at it. What does the next decade mean for me? I am the one who sits and is obsessive about it before you even hear it. As close as I get to it, I dunno if I can physically torture myself, year in and year out, and expect it to fulfill me the way that it does and the way that it is now. I don't want to put out anything that I feel is something I don't love. You just don't get that everyday. You have to wait for it.

The video wraps with him standing in front of a mic saying, "I'm Ready" and a countdown until he releases his first single.  The last time JT appeared on a new song was with Jaime Foxx in 2010 on 'Winner'.

So what spurred on this sudden revitalization in Timberlake's music career?  Is it passion for music, or could it be a marketing ploy to get MySpace back to relevance?

Honestly, I could care less.  I am a HUGE JT fan, and I'm happy to see him back into music.
