Justin Timberlake to become minority owner of NBA Memphis Grizzlies franchise according to ESPN. Justin Timberlake is close to finalizing a deal that will give a small piece of ownership of the Memphis Grizzlies.

Justin Timberlake has proven his love for the game of basketball throughout the years.  We have all seen pictures of Justin Timberlake sitting court side at NBA games before.  Timberlake has even given his celebrity power to charitable basketball games throughout his career.

Justin Timberlake would join the small club of music celebrities to have minority ownership of NBA franchises; Jay-z of the Brooklyn Nets & Will Smith of the Philadelphia 76ers.  I think it is really cool to see celebs step into the sports world and have success.

Since Justin Timberlake is from Memphis, it only seems right for him to have some ownership of the franchise.  I hope things workout for him and the residents of Memphis.
