Justin Verlander and Kate Upton Tie The Knot After Winning The World Series

I don't know if anyone has had a week like Justin Verlander just had. A World Series championship and a supermodel wife.

Justin and Kate celebrated the Houston Astros World Series win for about one day. Then they hopped on a plane to Italy, and celebrated another milestone life event.

Verlander missed the Astros championship parade to jump on a plane with Upton to Italy.

Saturday they were married at Rosewood Castiglion Del Bosco resort in Italy. TMZ has a gallery of pictures from the wedding and reception here.

Kate shared her thoughts with the same picture on her Instagram post.

The two have been dating for a few years now, and everyone expected them to get married, but the wedding still came as a surprise to many.

Congrats to the happy couple, now maybe he can swing back through Detroit and show off his World Series ring.
