It looks like Kanye West and adidas are ready to change the game of purchasing sneakers. Both brands have come together to produce an mobile app to help secure limited released sneakers.

According to Complex, Yeezy and adidas announced 'Confirmed' app to help sneakerheads secure and purchase limited adidas shoes like the upcoming Yeezy 3. The app hopes to curb sneaker release violence, bots, and flawed releases.

The app will allow customers to reserved their pair of kicks, stop by a nearby store, make a payment, and pick up their sneakers. Simon Atkins, VP of Brand Activation, says,

"A lot of people believe the system is rigged."

"Because of a live re-sale industry, a lot of people trying to game the system. We’ve tried to be the first in the industry to cut through all of that."

This will changing the purchasing options for sneakerheads. If adidas can keep the app from being hacked, it will do well. I am surprised no one has tapped into this idea until now. Will you download the app? Let me know what you think by leaving a comment below.
