Kanye West Interrupts Friends Wedding with “Imma Let You Finish” Speech

When Kanye West is not being an asshole, he seems like a pretty swell guy. The rap star recently pulled a mock Taylor Swift interruption during his friend's wedding. But this time it was all fun and games.

Last night (April 23), Yeezy was in attendance at his homeboy, nightclub management company owner, Dave Grutman's Miami wedding. The event was star-studded with the likes of Kim K, Hulk Hogan and Ryan Seacrest in building. When it was time to give speeches, someone in Grutmman's wedding party was addressing the crowd when West got up from his seat, snatched the mic and said, "Imma let you finish, but Dave Grutman had one of the best weddings of all time," before passing the mic back and taking his seat. Of course, everyone in attendance busted out in laughter.

The 7-year-old Swift incident still has an affect on West today. He recently admitted addressing the topic on his The Life of Pablo single "Famous" is what shook him out of his writer's block.

"That night when I went of stage was the beginning of the end of my life…When I just said what everyone was thinking,” he told a crowd at The Paradise International Music Festival earlier this month, referring to the night when he snatched the mic from the pop star during her acceptance speech at the MTV Music Awards.

It's good that West can make light of the infamous incident now.
