During the past week or so that has seen Kanye West deliver newsworthy tweets at a rapid fire pace, the Chicago rapper told the world that he has $53 million in debt. Well, the Philadelphia police department is interested in helping Kanye West fix his financial woes.

In a joke tweet which featured a photoshopped picture of Kanye West in uniform, the Philadelphia police department told Kanye that they are hiring. The tweet says that the starting salary is $47,920. The Philadelphia police let Kanye know that he would be able to pay back his $53 million debt by the year 3122.

This is not the first time the Philadelphia police department's Twitter account has had some fun with pop culture. Back in December, the account made posts about the blockbuster movie Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

"No, posting #StarWarsForceAwakens spoilers online is not a crime," the Twitter account posted. "Yes, it should be. Any illegal Sith behavior will still be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law."

In other efforts to help Kanye West get out of his debt, a fan named Jeremy Piatt set up a GoFundMe page for the rap star. The fundraiser is just as sarcastic as the Philadelphia police's offer.

"We must open our hearts and wallets for Kanye today," Piatt wrote on the page description. "Sure he is personally rich and can buy furs and houses for his family, but without our help, the true genius of Kanye West can't be realized."

While Kanye's plea for Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg to invest in his ideas has not worked, 477 people have contributed to the GoFundMe for a total of $4562 so far.
