Whether he's talking about the Grammys or the ongoing competition between music streaming services, Kanye West's Twitter page has been a constant stream of news-making statements, but it was the absence of characters that raised a collective eyebrow Sunday (Aug. 7) as the rapper's page appeared to be wiped clean in one fell swoop.

For an artist that plans surprise concerts, and almost always has something up his sweatshirt sleeve, many wondered what Kanye was planning if anything, or if his page disappearance was a reaction to something. However, the page was later restored in full with Twitter Support writing that the issues some users may have encountered weren't associated with any one specific account. "Some people may have briefly been unable to access certain Twitter accounts. The issue is now resolved, thanks for your patience!" they wrote in response to the problem.

As TeamKanyeDaily points out above, users were experiencing different landing pages for Kanye's account, with some reaching a blank page while others were told the page didn't exist. In the end, this amounts to an accidental troll, with the crisis of a life with less Kanye musings in it narrowly avoided.

In related news on the West end, Kanye recently passed his idol Michael Jackson by securing his 40th song to make the Billboard Hot 100's Top 40 with Schoolboy Q's "That Part" moving up the charts this week. He remains behind Jay Z, Drake and Lil Wayne on that list, but if he and Drake follow through on that joint album, he may be ascending even further in no time.
