Two months after saying he wanted to distance himself from politics, Kanye West has put his cape on for President Trump once again to start the new year.

On Tuesday (Jan. 1), West started retweeting dozens of posts on Twitter, while also sprinkling in some of his own. One especially stood out.

"Trump All Day," he wrote, followed by three dragon emojis to represent the supposed "dragon energy" he shares with No. 45.

To put his stamp on his statement, he added, "Just so in 2019 you know where I stand."

Following a hiatus, it sounds like the Make America Great Again hat will be making a return. "One of my favorite of many things that the trump hat represents to me is that people can’t tell me who I should do because I’m black. That’s real racism 🎤," he tweeted, before adding, "From now on I’m performing with my mutherfucking hat on 🐉🐉🐉."

Back in October, 'Ye claimed he was stepping away from politics following confusion over his involvement in Blexit campaign merch. At the time, he said he felt like he was being used.

"My eyes are now wide open and now realize I’ve been used to spread messages I don’t believe in," he tweeted. "I am distancing myself from politics and completely focusing on being creative !!!"

A couple weeks back, Pusha-T reported Yeezy was no longer wearing the Trump campaign lid. It sounds like things done changed.

In another interesting note, Yeezy revealed that he will be appearing on comedian Joe Rogan's podcast The Joe Rogan Experience. The pod is one of the most popular in the U.S. and so naturally, a lot of people are expected to tune in. Should be interesting, to say the least.
