All Kanye West wants to do is make the world a better place. But there's always someone out there trying alter his good cheer. Someone(s), recently broke into his creative studio in Calabasas, Calif. and made off with thousands of dollars worth of computer equipment.

Police were called to the location on Tuesday (May 24) about a burglary, TMZ reports. When they arrived they discovered the door to the building had been pried ajar. Thieves were able to access the building overnight and steal $20,000 worth of laptop and desktop computers before making a smooth getaway.

No suspects have been established in the crime by police. However, West's team thinks the heist might have been done by someone with intimate knowledge of the building, a.k.a. an inside job.

According to the report, no information on the machines was able to be lifted because of the high tech security systems and the computers have already been replaced. Hopefully 'Ye added a proper security system to the location as well.

Purely coincidentally we're sure, last week an unreleased Kanye West demo tape made its way onto the Internet.

The tape from 1997 has eight unreleased beats from the G.O.O.D. Music head honcho. A couple of them even later became legit songs, like Beat 2 (Grav’s “City to City”) and Beat 4 (Infamous Syndicate’s “What You Do To Me”).

Hopefully, Kanye keeps the recordings of his latest songs in a much safer location.
