Kendall and Kylie Jenner have responded to a lawsuit that deals with those controversial t-shirts featuring 2Pac and Biggie they released a couple of weeks ago.

In recent days, the two sisters were hit with a copyright infringement suit by photographer Michael Miller, who took the Tupac Shakur photos that were used for the shirts. According to a statement from Kendall and Kylie's clothing company, they obtained the Pac photos legally through a license and worked with a company called Canada Inc.

"Canada Inc. did not copy anyone's image, remove any copyright notice from any image or attempt to exploit Mr. Miller's claimed right of publicity," the statement read.

Of course, it didn't take long for the heat to come down on the reality show stars after releasing the shirts, since they not only plastered their faces over Tupac's image, they did the same with The Notorious B.I.G.'s. They did the same with pictures of Ozzy Osbourne and The Doors.

Besides getting blasted by Ozzy's wife Sharon Osbourne, the Jenners received cease and desist letters from The Doors estate, as well as Biggie's mom Voletta Wallace.

"I am not sure who told @kyliejenner and kendalljenner that they had the right to do this," wrote Ms. Wallace. "The disrespect of these girls to not even reach out to me or anyone connected to the estate baffles me ... I have no idea why they feel they can exploit the death of 2Pac and my son Christopher to sell a t-shirt. This is disrespectful, disgusting and exploitation at its worst."

Both Kendall and Kylie have since issued apologies.

We'll have to see how this suit plays out, and if the Jenner girls have to deal with any more legal issues surrounding the shirts.
