Kendrick Lamar made his second appearance as a musical guest on 'Saturday Night Live' over the weekend. The Compton rhymer's performance was a tad bit unusual but still exhilarating as he performed his latest single, 'i,' and 'Pay For It,' his collaboration with fellow TDE member Jay Rock.

For his first set, K.Dot wore some blackout contacts that made his eyes look hugely dilated. On top of that his hair was unkempt with parts of his dreads combed out. Apparently, this was in tribute to Method Man's 'Tical' album, which celebrated its 20th anniversary. This would make sense because Lamar is a student of hip-hop.

Nevertheless, he commanded the stage with his performance of his anthemic hit 'i.' Backed by a band, Lamar rapped his verses under a purple light and even did the jig similar to his choreography in the video. He ended his performance with a little spoken word.

For his second set, Lamar brought out Jay Rock to perform 'Pay For It.' Canadian singer Chantal Kreviazuk kicked it off by singing the song's hook by the piano. Then Lamar and Rock spit powerful lyrics of determination behind the band's energetic playing.

Finally, Lamar participated in a funny skit for a celebrity duets record called 'Young Tarts & Old Farts,' which matched old timers with today's contemporary artists. The 'Swimming Pools' rapper performed alongside a fake Barry Manilow, while other pairings included Lionel Richie and Ariana Grande, Diana Ross and Macklemore, Aretha Franklin and Robyn and James Taylor and 2 Chainz.

There was plenty of good fun on 'SNL.' Watch Kendrick Lamar's performances below.
