While appearing on Jada Pinkett Smith's new Red Table Talk interview series Kid Cudi reveals that using a ton of cocaine for one last drug binge helped him decide to go to rehab two years ago.

During the fifteen-minute interview, which was posted today (Dec. 17), Cudi admits to entering rehab while loaded on drugs. He was hopeful that it would be the last time that he uses it.

"The only way I'm going to go to rehab is if I get loaded. I found out that's the way a lot of people go to rehab, loaded," Cudi said on the show, which Jada co-hosts with her mother Adrienne Banfield-Jones and her daughter Willow Smith. After Cudi's initial comment, Jada asks what he was loaded on. "Cocaine and liquor," replies the Passion, Pain and Demon Slayin' artist.

Elsewhere during the interview, Cudi proudly states that he has been clean for more than two years. Upon entering rehab in 2016, Cudi felt like his life was a miserable comedy show.

"It's like doing a comedy but you're miserable," the 34-year-old explains. "My life was like this show and I was always supposed to be on. When the show was over, I was completely miserable. For a long time, I was not happy when I woke up in the morning."

Back in October of 2016, after sharing a heartfelt open letter with his fans, Cudi checked himself into rehab for "depression and suicidal urges." Cudi revealed that he was not feeling at peace and had been dealing with depression for quite some time throughout his life.

"I am not at peace," the Kids See Ghosts rapper wrote in the open letter. "I haven't been since you've known me. If I didn't come here, I would've done something to myself. I simply am a damaged human swimming in a pool of emotions every day of my life. There's a raging violent storm inside of my heart at all times. Idk what peace feels like. Idk how to relax. My anxiety and depression have ruled my life for as long as I can remember and I never leave the house because of it. I can't make new friends because of it. I don't trust anyone because of it and I'm tired of being held back in my life. I deserve to have peace."
