Kid Cudi's Passion, Pain and Demon Slayin' will not be released tomorrow (Sept. 30) as planned. Cudi went on Twitter today (Sept. 29) to announce that his album had been delayed due to sample clearance issues.

"Due to minor sample clearances still being finalized, we miss our deadline for tonight's release," he wrote. "However, you will be able to purchase 'Frequency' and 'Surfin' within in the next 48 hours for your grooving pleasure to hold you over. Waiting to hear from the label on an official pre-order, release date [and] platform availability. Can't have anything else hold this up and want to give them the time they need to handle their business and get your the right details."

Kid Cudi seems to be in much better state of mind following his recent rant about the music industry, Kanye West and Drake. The rapper's social media message touched on how excited he was for the fans to hear his new music.

"I can sense all of the excitement and love out there," Cudi continued. "It really makes my heart smile. No one could be more excited and anxious for you to consume the magical music candy I've prepared for you these past five months. I appreciate all the fam rooting for me as well as your patience and I'll have more concrete info about the singles releasing and the album for you tomorrow!"

Kid Cudi's new album will feature 18 tracks with some high profile contributors. Andre 3000, Pharrell, Travis Scott and Willow Smith are the four guests listed on the LP's official tracklisting, which Cudi revealed earlier this week.
